International exchange students seek host families
Teresa Mayeaux began hosting foreign exchange students in her home as a way to improve her French skills.
She had just graduated from college with a degree in French and was working at her first teaching job. Inviting a French student into her home seemed like a good way to improve her language skills.
More than 25 years later, Mayeaux is still hosting kids from other countries. Her eighth foreign exchange student will arrive from Germany later this month.
