Participants sought for church's annual memorial praise fest
The 14th annual Jennifer Robertson Memorial Praise Fest will be held at North Monroe Baptist Church, 210 Finks Hideaway Road, in Monroe on Saturday, Aug. 11 at 6 p.m.
The lineup of well-known local artists will include Mike Loveday, who will also serve as master of ceremonies; Blessed Assurance, Brothers in Christ, New Liberty Quartet, Southern Revelation, Chose, Southern Grace, Ben Waits, Randy Waggoner, Kevin and Ellen Oswell, Jan Kenney, Sanctuary Quartet, Lee and Mary Ann Haynes, Darrell Robertson, Richard Ainsworth, Tim Post, Chad Tingle, Wayne Smart, Becky Beezley and Mark Buchanan.
Praise Fest will once again be a Gaither-style concert. Anyone wishing to sing in the choir is asked to attend a practice at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, at North Monroe Baptist Church.
