It was an evening of honor for the men in blue as police chiefs from across the state converged on Shreveport, for the 39th Annual LACP Conference and Trade Show, July 17-19.

The Louisiana Association of Chiefs of Police represents more than 300 police chiefs and top command officers from municipalities, universities, colleges, medical campuses and other agencies across the state.

LACP is involved in all aspects of law enforcement, including professionalism, legislation and training. Members are informed about the latest equipment, supplies and training through workshops, seminars and exhibit booths presented during the conference.
