Another arrest in homicide
A 33-year-old man was arrested last week in connection with a double homicide that occurred June 30 in the 400 Block of Allen Avenue in Monroe.
Amechea D. Charleston, of Monroe, was arrested July 3 by Monroe police and charged with two counts of second degree murder in the shooting deaths of Ross Watters and Pierre Boyette, both of Huttig, Ark.
Charleston is the third man to be booked on charges related to the shootings of Boyette and Watters.
