A prosecutor in the 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office has provided "forever homes" to a pair of thoroughbred colts.

Call me Eppie and Winterland's Colt were rescued by the Sabine Humane Society and in need of a home. Cindy Poston Lavespere, a prosecuting attorney in Ouachita and Morehouse Parishes, reached out to Humane Society representatives to offer the colts a home.

Lavespere's 10-year-old daughter, Cameron Alyssa, is beginning her riding career in jumping and dressage competitions. The mother-daughter team were searching for two horses that could be trained for riding, jumping and dressage.
