National retailer plans grand opening
Specialty home décor retailer Kirkland's will celebrate the grand opening of its new store at 4429 Pecanland Mall Road in the Pecanland Center in Monroe on July 21 and 22.
Kirkland's will hold drawings for one $500 gift card and three $100 gift cards for customers who attend the grand-opening celebration throughout the day. Customers need only show up to the store and register to be entered in the drawing.
The new Monroe location will employ 15 to 18 people and is one of 295 Kirkland's stores throughout the nation. The stores offer an extensive selection of decorative items, gifts and seasonal merchandise.
The grand-opening celebration will last from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, and 12 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 22.
