Step carefully. It's an active crime scene.

Detectives are carefully combing through evidence in drawers and under mattresses and technicians are collecting blood samples from footprints on the linoleum.
But these aren't your normal detectives and crime scene technicians. Most of them are still in grade school.

This isn't your every day crime scene, either. It's a training exercise put together by Ouachita Parish Sheriff's deputies as part of the annual OPSO Cadet Academy.
Held each summer, the OPSO Cadet Academies are offered to youth who express an interest in law enforcement as a possible career choice.
