Delta gets interim chancellor
The former head of one of New Jersey's largest junior colleges will take the helm of Delta Community College.
Wednesday afternoon, the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS) Board of Supervisors voted unanimously approved the appointment of Dr. Jerry Ryan as Acting Chancellor of Delta Community College.
Ryan's appointment is effective immediately.
Ryan assumes the responsibilities of Acting Chancellor at Louisiana Delta Community College and Acting Regional Director for Northeast Louisiana Technical College to fill the vacancy created when former Delta Chancellor Luke Robins accepted the chancellorship of Peninsula College in Port Angeles, Washington.
