Dianne Cage: June 14, 2012 Good Morning Sunshine Shine! ADELE RANSOM, you pretty, sweet thing! I love you and I have enjoyed my lemon yellow Anna Gray Noe Day Lilies, just beautiful! Thank you for sharing. They are so pretty, I do not think I could divide mine and share! Shame on me!
MARY BERTRAND, you tell DUDLEY those are the best cucumbers we have ever tasted, and I can hardly wait to see his container garden. Thank you and for my roses, too.
JEAN and SHERMAN SHAW, I think I am going to cry! Your sweet corn, oh my goodness, the best ever. Mama Sherman and Daddy Nub would be proud! The first time I ever had sweet corn was maybe 42 years ago at Sherman's grandparents country estate in Haynesville. Folks around here had never heard of sweet corn or if they had they did not share. That day in Haynesville with Stella and George Sherman will somehow be in my book. I have never forgotten them or the day! It was like being in a Walt Disney movie. .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition!
