KEDM earns broadcast awards
KEDM Public Radio, 90.3 FM, won 14 awards in the Louisiana Associated Press Broadcasters Association Contest, including eight first-place citations. The station picked up four second-place and two third-place awards.
The awards were announced during the LAPBA banquet in Baton Rouge on Saturday, June 2.
News and Public Affairs Director Bob Lenox received the top honor for Reporter of The Year.
He won first place for Story of the Year in covering the Mississippi River threatening Vidalia's Riverfront.
