Ogle honored by chorus Carol Ogle, of Monroe, has been named the local Sweet Adeline of the Year for the Piney Hills Harmony Chorus and was also re-elected president of the group.
Ogle received kudos for her Sweet Adeline of the Year award both regionally and locally. At the chorus' annual regional competition in Dallas this spring, she and other such recipients were awarded VIP status throughout the weekend. Then, during the chorus' recent board installation banquet, additional recognition was given.
Piney Hills Harmony Director Sheila Nugent said, "The title of Sweet Adeline of the Year could not go to a more deserving person. Carol works tirelessly for our chorus, putting in long hours and dedicating a huge portion of her life to making sure that our chorus thrives and succeeds. We would not be where we are without Carol's hard work and determination. She is definitely one of the strongest keys to our success."
