Ballet companies participate in national festival Northeast Louisiana is home to a talented arts community.
One the area's most prolific arts is dance. Recently, two companies from the region, Louisiana Delta Ballet (LDB) and Twin City Ballet (TCB), participated in the National Regional Dance America (RDA) Festival, "Festival de Dance" in Montreal, Canada. The festival is held only twice a decade.
Seventy-nine companies from five regions across the United States each performed one dance, over five nights. Throughout the week, dancers attended multiple style classes with renowned instructors from around the globe.
