Symphony book fair continues this weekend

The line formed long before the Monroe Symphony League opened the doors Saturday for its June Book Fair.

Bobbye Legan, the MSL board member who chairs the Book Room, said people were "lapped around" the building at 320 North 4th St. in Monroe when the doors opened at 9 a.m.

If you missed the opening, though, there's still time to stock up on summer reading materials. Legan said the sale continues this weekend.
