With Western Kentucky's 5-3 loss to Southern Alabama on Thursday night, ULM officially clinched its place in the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament Championship Game no matter what happens in Saturday final round of pool games.

The Warhawks earned the first bid into Sunday's Sun Belt Championship Game with a dramatic 9-7 walk-off win in 13 innings over Florida Atlantic earlier in the day. ULM moved to 2-0 in Pool A after Wednesday's win and a 7-4 decision in 10 innings over South Alabama on Tuesday in the tournament's opening game.

ULM is off on Friday before facing tournament host Western Kentucky Saturday night at Bowling Green Ballpark in the final game of pool play. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The opponent for the Warhawks has yet to be determined. As it stands right now, both Troy and Arkansas State are 1-0 headed into their showdown today at 3:00 p.m. Florida International and Middle Tennessee are the other teams in pool B where both teams have a 0-1 record headed into Friday's match up at 11:00 a.m.

The Sun Belt Tournament Championship baseball game will take place Sunday, May 27th at 1:00 p.m.
