The LSU Lady Tigers and University of Louisiana - Lafayette Lady Ragin Cajuns took one step closer to the College World Series to be held in Oklahoma City.

LSU knocked off number 8th seeded Texas A&M 2-0 to move to the championship bracket of the NCAA Regional in College State. The Lady Tigers (2-0) must defeat the Lady Aggies once more to advance to the Super Regional round.

In order for Texas A&M to advance, the Lady Aggies will have to win back -to - back games over LSU to advance.

LSU will take the field Sunday against Texas A&M at 1:00 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN3. If LSU falls to Texas A&M, the deciding game will be played at 3:30 p.m. which would also be televised on ESPN3.

In the Lafayette Regional, UL-L Lady Ragin Cajuns have dominated the diamond going 2-0 through the first two games. Just like LSU, UL-L finds itself in the driver's seat to advance to the super regional round. All the Lady Ragin Cajuns have to do is beat Stanford once to earn a spot in next week's Super Regional Series.

In order for Stanford to advance, the Lady Cardinal will have to win back -to - back games over UL-L to move on to next week's Super Regional series.

UL-L will play Stanford at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Should UL-L lose, the deciding game will be played at 3:30 p.m.
