Boys of Fall tackle spring football
by Jimmy Touchet - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
In Louisiana, the month of May signals spring football practice for parish
high schools. All told, ten LHSAA parish schools are participating in the ten allowed practice sessions by the state high school athletic association.

The River Oaks Mustangs are also participating in spring drills in the
MIAS league.

Those LHSAA schools that are holding spring football practice include
Neville, Carroll, Ouachita Christian, Ouachita Parish, Richwood, Sterlington, St. Frederick, West Monroe, West Ouachita and Wossman.

This year marks a change in the amount of practices each school is allowed under in the LHSAA. In addition, schools are no longer allowed to compete in scrimmages against other high schools.

LHSAA schools are allowed to hold inter-squad scrimmages during the
spring football practice schedule.
