Memorial Day celebration at Monroe senior center

The West Monroe High School Jr. ROTC will present colors and perform a POW/MIA ceremony at the Memorial Day Celebration at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 25, at Carolyn Rose Strauss Senior Center, 2407 Ferrand St., Monroe.

All Veterans and their spouses are invited. The Falcon Honor Guard will be commanded by Cadet Captain Anthony Parker. The Bayou Breeze Quartet from the Southern Acapella Sound Chorus of the Sweet Adelines will sing patriotic songs.

Cake and punch will be served. This event is sponsored by United Home Care.
