St. Frederick Lady Warriors win Tennis State Championship
The St. Frederick Lady Warriors Tennis Team defended their Division V state championship this past Thursday at Monroe's Forsythe Park.
Led by Elaine Simon, who captured her fourth straight Division singles state title, St. Fred easily outpaced the state runner up Country Day of Metarie.
Lady Warrior double team of Lily Ryan and Reagan Lapietra secured the Division V state runner up spot falling the finals in three set to the team of Catherine Worley and Chloe Carpenter from Country Day.
On the boys side, the Warriors were led by singles semifinalist Alec Shell and Kyle Mayfield. |
