The Ouachita Christian boys and girls track team continued their dominance of the Division V state level winning both divisions at LSU's Bernie Moore Track Stadium last Saturday.

On the boys side, OCS (93 points) had the double the points of state runner up Ascension Catholic (44 points).

The OCS Lady Eagles had a tougher time outpacing state runner up Hamilton Christian 98 points to 79.

OCS junior Braden Bristo led the boys team winning the boys 300 meter hurdles, placing 2nd in the 110 meter hurdles and claiming third place in the boys pole vault event.

Other OCS track and field members named state champions were Bo Harper (Boys Shot Put), Anna Cobb (Girls Discuss Throw), Ashton Chowns (Girls 800 meter run), Ahkeem Henderson (200 meter dash),

Two OCS boys relay teams also earned state championship honors. Those teams earning first place were Jacob Cannon, Braden BristoBrice Gilikin, and Ahkeem Henderson (4x100 meter relay) and Ahkeem Henderson, Reed Robertson, Caleb Wisecarver and Brice Gilikin (4x400 meter relay).
