OCS slides into quarters - Eagles host Oak Grove on Saturday

The Ouachita Christian Eagles (26-4) continued their dominate play by taking an 11-1 road regional playoff victory in five innnings over the Westminister Academy Crusaders (12-15) in Opelousas on Tuesday.

David Joe Branch (4-2) was the winning pitcher on record for the Eagles as he threw three strike outs and only gave up one run in four innings of work.

Leading hitters for OCS were Jordan Washam (2-4, 4 RBIs), Colby Webb (1-3, 1 RBI), Josh Greer (1-2, 1 RBI), Braden Bristo (1-4, 1 RBI) and Mark Laird (1-3, 1 RBI).

Colby Webb came in to pitch in the fifth inning to finish off the Crusaders with a perfect three up three down performance.
