Neville girls win state tennis title

The Neville girls' tennis team won the Division 2 (Class 4A) state championship at ULM on Tuesday.

Led by Singles State Champion Francis Altick and Doubles State Runner Up Team of Katie Trettin and Layne Fincher, the Neville Lady Tigers Tennis team earned 13 points to edge out state runner up Vandebilt Catholic.

West Ouachita's Iasmin Rosa was the state runner up in the singles division losing to Neville's Altick 6-1, 6-0 in the all Ouachita Parish State Championship Girls' Singles Match on Tuesday.
