What is a REVERSE MORTGAGE? We have all heard about it, seen it advertised on TV and listened to others discuss what it is. So how does it work and can it be helpful as part of a financial plan during retirement. To begin with let me try an answer some often asked questions.

• Do I still home my home? YES

• When does the mortgage get paid off? At any time but usually at the time of death

• Can the surviving spouse continue to live in the home? Yes
