Leonard Gray, my dad, thinks his article will be printed here today. Well, surprise!! I saw the article Coach Payne's daughter wrote for his birthday not long ago and thought that was an excellent idea! I hope she doesn't mind that I am copying her idea.

Today is my dad's 90th birthday. I would like to tell you a little bit about the man I call "Dad."

I think if I had to sum up his 90 years on this planet in one word, it would be service. He truly has the heart of a servant and has served in so many ways in his life it is hard to believe. He served his community as a teacher and then he served his country as a pilot in World War II.
