Ballet event grows to include arts festival

For the first time in its 15 year run, Twin City Ballet Company's (TCBC) "Ballet Under the Stars" expands to include an arts festival called "Arts in the Park," which brings together artists of all kinds at Kiroli Park in West Monroe.

The "Ballet Under the Stars" dance performance and a Mexican themed fundraiser will kick off the festivities on Friday, April 20, starting 6 p.m. at the Kiroli Park Amphitheatre.

A second "Ballet Under the Stars" dance performance and Gala Post Party are scheduled Saturday, April 21, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the same location. Tickets for "Ballet Under the Stars" and dinner are $45 for nonmember or a $25 upgrade for members.

Get ready to be dazzled by the gorgeous music and choreography, including dance numbers set to everyone's favorite Beatles' songs choreographed by New York-based Joe Istre.
