Cultura welcomes Dalrymple

On April 2, 2012, Cultura Book Club met at the home of member Jean Halsell, with President Peggy Henderson presiding.

After reciting the club collect, vice president Montez Branch introduced the speaker, V.P. Dalrymple.

Dalrymple is well known in the area, having grown up in north Louisiana. He is a graduate of NLU, now ULM. He has taught in many Ouachita Parish schools and it noted for his community activities.

Dalrymple's topic for the meeting was "Louisiana Lagniappe," his personal collection of unique facts and trivia about the state.
