Ridgecrest receives five-star ranking
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Ridgecrest Community Care Center, located in West Monroe, has received a high ranking of five stars for first quarter 2012 from Nursing Home Compare, a consumer Web site run by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

CMS sets and enforces standards for nursing homes enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid and the facilities can earn an overall rating of one to five stars.

The facility's overall rating of five stars, the highest rating, correlates with its performance in health inspections, nurse staffing, and measures of medical care quality.

Ridgecrest Community Care Center's ranking can also be seen in the recent list distributed by US News & World Report's top nursing homes in Louisiana. Ridgecrest Community Care Center is currently listed as the number one nursing home in the state.
