by Jimmy Touchet - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Craig and Danielle Spivey have qualified to compete in the 2012 Boston Marathon on Monday, April 16th.

The marathon starts at 9:00 a.m. (CST) on Monday which is known around the Northeast portion of the country as "Patriots' Day."

The Boston Marathon is the longest continued held marathon event in the United States. This year's running of the event will mark the 116th Boston marathon.

"We are staying with some good friends just north of Boston," Craig Spivey said. "We will get a hotel room closer to the event for Sunday night so we will be closer to the event once it starts."

The Spiveys will be in the 2nd wave which is slated to start around 9:25 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. (CST).
