ULM faculty ensemble to perform in Thailand

Black Bayou Brass, resident faculty brass ensemble in the University of Louisiana at Monroe Division of Music, will perform as guest artists at Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand, this summer.

Group members include Alex Noppe on trumpet, Dr. James Boldin on horn, and Dr. Micah Everett on trombone. As part of their week-long residency, the group will perform a recital on Tuesday, June 5, and offer master classes and lessons throughout the week to students in the College of Music at Mahidol.

In addition, the ensemble will perform concerts and hold clinics at several schools in the Bangkok area.
