River Oaks hauls in wins - Mustangs off to 12-5 start overall, 5-1 in district

The River Oaks Mustangs baseball team is off to a fantastic start for the 2012 season.
River Oaks is currently posting a 12-5 overall record and 5-1 record in district.

On Thursday, the Central Hinds Cougars will travel to River Oaks in a District 2-AA game. First pitch is at 6 p.m.

On Monday, April 10th, the Prairie View Academy Spartans from Bastrop will take on River Oaks.

The varsity game will take place immediately following the junior varsity game. The Junior varsity game is slated for a 4 p.m. start.

With the bad weather, several of the River Oaks baseball district games have been postponed to a later date.
