Monroe council introduces $55.5 million budget
The Monroe City Council introduced a roughly $55.5-million for the 2012-2013 fiscal year Tuesday night, but at least one member of the City Council took issue with it.
City Councilman Eddie Clark said he was unhappy with the budget because too little money was earmarked for projects in his district.
"I voted for last year's budget and sat back just to see how things would get done," Clark said.
According to Clark, things didn't get done.
