The Ouachita Christian Eagles (15-3, 4-0) are dominating the baseballdiamond. In the latest power rankings by www.kenramsey.com, the Eagles are ranked number one in Class 1A.

OCS is no stranger to state-wide success in Class 1A. The Eagles were a 2011 Class 1A semifinalist and won the Class 1A state title in 2010 and 2008.

OCS is not the only team in District 2-1A making an appearance in the "Top Ten" rankings in Class 1A. The Cedar Creek Cougars (10-5, 0-2) are ranked number sixth in Class 1A.

After a slow start, the St. Frederick Warriors (4-11 , 2-1) have rebounded to earn district wins over Grambling (15-7) and Cedar Creek (6-4). The Warriors only district loss was to OCS (5-0) this past Thursday at home. St. Frederick was a 2011 Class 1A quarterfinalist.
