Mercer shared that concern Monday night at a regular meeting of the Ouachita Parish Police Jury.
"Several times, Ive seen the water come up to my back door," Mercer told police jurors. "Its been an inch away from my back door multiple times."
Mercer's home is on Brianna Circle, in Police Juror Scotty Robinsons District A.
