Plenty of championship glory for Neville

All kinds of media attention has been heaped on the Neville Tigers since their Class 4A state championship victory over Franklinton at the Louisiana Superdome. The Tigers have been in celebration mode since returning from New Orleans on Dec. 12.

A lot of talk has been done about the job that Coach Mickey McCarty has done in returning one of the state's all-time winningest programs to the glory of winning state championships. Just as much credit has been given to quarterback Taylor Burch, running back Ricco Pollard, and a stingy Neville defense as tough as a brick wall.

Lost in the shuffle could be the man responsible for molding one of the top offensive juggernauts in the state of Louisiana this season. That man is Neville offensive coordinator Brett Lemoine.
