Crosset 'light' experience never forgotten If you can identify with the subject of this week's column, you will definitely be dating yourself.
Have you ever made a trip to Crossett, Ark. to see the "light"? Making trips to Crossett was one of my favorite pasttimes. I made numerous trips over the years to see if I could witness the appearance of the "light." One of my friends and I would usually double date, triple date or just load up in a car and head to Crossett.
The "light" happening would take place on a railroad track only a few miles outside of Crossett. Of course, the anticipation of seeing the "light" would keep the whole bunch enthusiastic about what we may encounter. One of the first things that we caught sight of was these little green lights. They became visible alongside the rails of the tracks. They would then float upward and dance their way out into the woods; then disappear.
