Carroll prepares to face Bogalusa
The fourth-ranked Carroll Bulldogs (9-1) will begin the Class 3A playoffs at home against No.29-seed Bogalusa Friday at 7 p.m.
Carroll is enjoying their best season ever under head coach Jackie Hamilton and won the district championship after beating arch-rival Richwood last week, 28-14.
Carroll, who won just one game last season, started the game on a defensive high following a safety against Richwood last week.
