River Oaks advances to play Bowling Green
The River Oaks Mustangs (10-1) will host a second round MAIS playoff football game inside Woody Boyles Stadium Friday night against Bowling Green School of Franklinton.
Last week, River Oaks opened the 2009 playoffs with a 35-14 win over Central Hinds High School.
Quarterback Ryan McGregor lead the Mustangs with 111 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Lance Ginn caught a touchdown pass from McGregor and Vincent Moore capped the scoring with a 32-yard touchdown run near the end of the third quarter.
