Sterlington tangles with Jonesboro
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
The Sterlington Panthers (3-6, 0-4 district 2-2A) will be hitting the road this Friday night as they visit the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers (6-3, 2-2) Friday night at 7 p.m.

The Panthers are coming off another district loss as they fell to the Ferriday Trojans last week, 14-0.
The game got off to a rocky start for the Sterlington offense as they surrendered a safety in the first quarter of play.

The Sterlington defense responded by not allowing any points by the Ferriday offensive until midway through the third quarter.

The problem for Panthers was the fact that they never could find any rhythm or consistency to be able to score at all against Ferriday's stone wall of defense.
