Tech alums to be honored posted Thursday, October 8th, 2009 @ 11:42 pm  E-mail Story |  Print Story  Louisiana Tech University's Alums of the Year will be recognized on Friday, Oct. 16 at noon as part of Tech's 2009 Homecoming activities.  Drake Mills, CEO and president of Community Trust Bank, will be recognized as 2009 Alumnus of the Year by Louisiana Tech President Dan Reneau. Other honorees include: Young Alumnus of the Year – Elizabeth Mitchell Taylor, Houston. College of Applied and Natural Sciences – Deborah Self Spann, Farmerville. College of Business – George W. Cummings III, Monroe. College of Education – Dr. Gerald Wayne Cobb, Choudrant. College of Engineering and Science – Charles G. Tullis, Longview, Texas. College of Liberal Arts– Wiley W.
